Albuquerque New Mexico Attractions
As you will discover, there are many unique things to do in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and most of them have nothing to do with Breaking Bad. From outdoor activities to exploring local museums, it's all about the things you do, not the show.
We scraped four off our list by visiting the Four Corners Monument, which is literally in the northwestern corner of New Mexico. We were able to explore the four corners of the monument as well as a number of other places in Albuquerque.
This picturesque and historic area covers 15,000 square miles connecting Albuquerque and Santa Fe. This area is known as Nine Mile Hill and is a sandy area west of the river and dunes. It offers beautiful views of the Four Corners National Monument in New Mexico and the Rio Grande River.
There is obviously much more to do in Albuquerque New Mexico than what we described above, but we have focused on the free and cheap activities. More expensive attractions in Albuquerque include the Albuquerque Natural History Museum, the city's historic district and some of its restaurants. The Southwest has so many fantastic cities to explore and Although Albuquerque is not on my "must-visit" list, I would definitely consider adding it. It may not have the clout of places like California or New York, but it is the best place in the US to visit and really worth visiting.
If you plan to visit Santa Fe as well, the New Mexico CulturePass is definitely worth the money. The tour includes a tour of the historic district and some of the city's restaurants, and free admission to the Natural History Museum of Albuquerque and the Museum of Art and Culture.
The ABQ Trolley Co. will take you to a variety of Albuquerque attractions, including Route 66 and the Old Town. Drive to Sandia Crest, where a series of hiking trails offer magnificent views of the Albuquerque Desert. The top of Sandia Peak can be reached from the main parking lot in the city of Albuquerque or from a downtown parking garage.
This is one of the best places in New Mexico to see this region from a bird's eye view and it is the most beautiful place in the USA. There are so many fun things to do, and there are some great activities that are offered for free or at a reduced price. It is a great place to do great, free things, with many great restaurants, shops, museums, parks and more.
The Museum of Albuquerque, which focuses on the history, art and culture of Albuquerque, is the Natural History Museum. On the steps of the Old Town Square, the museum houses a permanent collection that relates to over four centuries of Albuquerque history and exhibits important New Mexico artworks. Explore the natural history of the city and its inhabitants and its history as a tourist destination.
The Pueblo Indian Cultural Center of Albuquerque promotes the culture, history and art of the Puleo people. The mission of this centre is to preserve, perpetuate and advance understanding by presenting an evolving history with dignity and respect. This museum seeks to promote a deeper understanding of New Mexico's past, present and future for the benefit of all residents and visitors to New York and the United States.
This is one of the best places to learn about the history of New Mexico and the development of the region over time. Experience travelling exhibitions in the newly expanded museum and the museum's extensive fossil and fossil collections from around the world. The Jurassic period fascinates children with its fascinating fossils, fossils of dinosaurs, dinosaurs and dinosaurs of all ages, as well as dinosaur fossils.
The Explora Science Center is located on Museum Street, locally called Museum Street, and is close to other museums in Albuquerque. This is one of the most popular attractions in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the second largest museum in the state. It offers a large playground, which is a great place for children to burn energy, and offers a variety of educational wonders that inspire and invite you to play for hours.
